A major part of healing is feeling safe to self-reflect and become aware of the different parts of us we have shut off from our awareness, whether this be through shutting down, numbing out or running away. We all have parts that handle stress and fear in maladaptive ways, whether we overeat, use substances, or engage in patterns of reactivity that leave us wishing we had taken a different approach.

I incorporate yoga and mindfulness with healing strategies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems to help you begin to process and uncover the areas that might be activated when under stress to help you build clarity, confidence, and self-love.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University.

Additionally, I have experience utilizing trauma informed care, such as mindfulness and yoga, with various communities, including the LGBQTIA+ community, teens, and adolescents, as well as those experiencing PTSD and/or complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.

My certifications include Trauma Informed Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and Reiki.
