I am a licensed professional counselor who has had counseling experience in both private practice and within a school setting, working with a variety of populations including adults and children dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning disabilities, stress management, and behavioral difficulties. I believe that it is essential to provide individuals with the skills to cope and strategies to enhance their wellbeing so that they can become more resilient in the future.
As a mom who has experienced my own challenging journey, I have developed a passion for wanting to help support other women feel empowered to explore who they are and where they are struggling. I have a special interest in supporting individuals through the difficulties of motherhood, postpartum anxiety, navigating difficult health-related diagnoses, and parenting issues. I use a variety of counseling techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness within my practice. Ultimately, it is my goal that through empathy, understanding, and compassion I can provide a safe place where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
